This week we hear from Katee Thomas, the centre manager for Methodist Mission Southern's Early Learning Centre - Little Citizens. "At Little Citizens we're guided by Te Whāriki, New Zealand's Early Childhood Curriculum. We value tuakana / teina relationships - where children of all ages learn from and get to lead each other. Manaakitanga - Kindness and Empthy. Aroha - Love and compassion and kaitiakitanga - guardianship of our world. We recognise children's differences in culture and experiences and enjoy sharing and celebrating them with whānau." This show was broadcast on OAR 105.4FM Dunedin - http://oar.org.nz
