Recipients of the Share the Love of Nature with Nga Manu campaign invites the community the help deserving families experience the wonders of nature at Nga Manu. The campaign encourages people to donate day passes, annual Friends of Ngā Manu memberships (or a monetary donation) for families who might not otherwise have the opportunity to visit the reserve. These donations allow families to enjoy a memorable day exploring native wildlife, feeding eels, meeting rare reptiles, and venturing into ancient lowland forest trails. The recipients of the campaign are Kāpiti Women's Centre and Family Heart Services. The Kāpiti Women’s Centre offers crucial support through counselling, workshops, and programs that foster resilience and well-being and is a safe haven and empowering space for women in our community. Family Heart Services are dedicated to supporting families facing hardship and provides essential resources, advocacy, and emotional support to ensure no family feels alone. For more information about the campaign, to donate a day pass, or to nominate a family, visit https://ngamanu.org.nz/pages/share-the-love
